SMARTSTART 

Students entering third level education can avail of the SmartStart Package.

While benefits/offers change from year to year, the core advantages remain the same.

These include:

• Free ATM card with no withdrawals charges.
  
• The flexibility to withdraw cash at cash points nationwide. This includes AIB and Bank of Ireland ATM machines.
  
• Access to education loans at preferential rates.

Scholarship

Win €1200 per annum for up to four years!

The Scholarship Draw is open to students who;

• Have completed their Leaving Certificate.
  
• Are commencing a Degree or Diploma course in any Third Level Institution of at least three years duration.
  
• Take out a St. Canice’s Kilkenny Credit Union Education Loan of €1,000 or more at the special education rate.
  

Completed Scholarship Application Forms together with evidence that a degree or diploma course has been accepted in a Third Level Institution should be returned to St. Canice’s Kilkenny Credit Union.  Forms are available from either of our offices at High Street or MacDonagh Junction Shopping Centre.

Note:

The scholarship is paid at a rate of €1,200 per annum for a maximum of four years.  Scholarship payments of the second, third and fourth year are dependent on the scholarship student maintaining satisfactory progress in their chosen course and confirmation of this progress will be required before instalments are issued.
